WHO KNEW I HAD A CHOICE!!
Because I am a physician with a very busy practice, I decided to go ahead and wait for the next person. She was very nice. She was very helpful. She commented that she was quite impressed that I was so prepared and had all the correct documents (because it was a complex title transfer from my father who passed away to me--requires notarized affidavit, copy of death certificate, familial transfer forms, insurance cards, license, etc).
I love this tag agency. They are always so sweet and helpful!! I have no clue how they all stay in good moods but they all deserve gold stars. (:
Undoubtably the friendliest, and most courteous and helpful staff. Greeted with a smile and so pleasant. I have lived in Edmond all my life but dreaded the times I had to go to the tag agent near me due to the
Mike said, "If you're here for a license, go down to the end" whilst pointing where the driver's licenses are done. I said that I was here for car title transfer. He looked at my forms, and then he said, "Someone will be with you real soon." Then he went back to talking to the older man. The older man, the woman with him, and another man (who was seated watching the whole interaction take place) all looked shocked by his response to me.
No ability to say zero stars.
When the lady helping me finished up my title transfer, I asked her who owned the place. When she said that Mike did, I told her I would never be back based on how rude Mike was prior to her helping me. And no, I did not drop that I was a doctor or that I only stayed because I rarely have time to drop by and do these things. I figure that Mike should treat me nice no matter who I am. Apparently Mike does enough business that blowing people off hasn't hurt him too much. Karma. It may not impact his business, but it will snag him some day.
“Unwelcoming” atmosphere. I’m in my 60s so I can say it was SAME every year.
I have 10 different vehicles I am responsible for titles and tags. These guys really are the nicest in Edmond. They are extremely helpful and timely. In a stressful work environment while dealing with the public especially on saturdays, they continue to serve with a smile.
Mike is the owner, and he does not believe in social norms of customer service or courtesy. I had sat down because the line was long. When he walked up to the counter and asked who was next, an older man who just walked in started to talk as I said, "Me." He saw the dismay on my face--well, he looked at me. Apparently the look didn't register with him. The older man had two car titles and a lengthy story. I interrupted when Mike became to speak back to him to say that I was next. The older man and the woman with him were both apologetic and made body language gestures to say that I should be seen before them.
I Love Broadway Tag Agency
Maybe that's it, Mike is lazy! He saw that it was going to be a complex transfer and decided that social norms related to how to wait on customers in a line did not apply because he did not want to mess with it. If it were some other reason, he should have communicated it. He just rudely told me I would be helped soon by someone other than him because he did not care that his customer both cut in line and offered for me to go ahead of him.
Nice agency, I appreciate how proactive the employees are at ensuring that you are taken care of. Even with a slow system on the day I came in they worked to move everything along while keeping a positive attitude.
