I have to rate as one star so I can post my review. Our rating is a true 0 star. Horrible! Lacking caring and compassionate staff. So many terrible incidents. Pending legal action against the "hospital". They weren't giving our loved one her antibiotics for a UTI. They weren't able to provide emergency transportation to back OU until several hours later (which would be 3am). I called EMSA and they were there within 10 minutes. Not treating the UTI landed our loved one back into the hospital for over week. During that time her infection got so bad she had to be put in constraints because she was going insane. When I called AMG to ask them to have Mercy send the latest test results to OU because time was not on our side, the older, red headed female receptionist hung up on me. During the inpatient care, a nurse and respiratory therapist thought it would be a good idea to start steroids, which conflicts with wound care. Not a smart move at all for someone healing from a hole in their stomach. The first night the nurse wouldn't help us get our loved one back into bed from the chair. She just stood their even after we asked for help. No physical therapy was done, no anti-blood clot leg cuffs were given (until 3 days after we kept asking and asking for them), and response time was on average of 30 minutes. Unacceptable treatment for a patient who was on a ventilator to receive. I talked to the CEO. I waas very calm and nice during the phone call. He didn't say much and no follow up from him after he said they had a meeting regarding the issues. This was only a 5 day stay. Please do not send your loved one to this facility. So sad and hard to accept that AMG has such cruel and uncaring people in the medical field.

Bad treatment, rude staff,took my husband out after I'll treatment.
I stayed here in 2010. The nurses were amazing especially Sandy and Sharon! They gave me the will power and never gave up on me! They even saved my life when my kidneys had shut down. They spoiled me. I pray Im never sick again but if I am I know where i am going!
