1)20+ yr customer still will not let me have online checking have spent hours on phone with customer service resetting passwords a dozen times. Still will not work. 2) will not stop fraudulent charges on acct thus forced to cancel debit card and make two hour round trip to nearest branch having canceled card due to fraudulent charges. 3)inquired about balance, $1,000+ okay great go to city for grocery shopping to have it declined. Calling customer support find out the deposit is showing but pending thus NOT in my acct as I have been told,. Partial payment taken at store zeroed acct out. Had to spend all that time keying in every item returned to have the partial payment debited back into my acct thus having gone from $1,000+ all the way down to 0 get to go hungry tonight until I can make the 2 hr round trip to nearest branch and have it sorted out and make a cash withdrawal due to their refusal to stop fraudulent payments so only, and ONLY because Peggy with customer service was such a dear and helped me sort this out via telephone much as possible do they get 2 stars. Otherwise I honestly feel as if they deserve 1. 20+yrs banking with same branch only to have all of this happen within one week being severely disabled this has caused some very extreme very physically mentally and emotional painful experience. Waiting on my replacement card will have to think and decide if I wish to continue with Prosperity they sure seem to have kamikazeed their services into the ground as of late causing some very painful very ridiculous basic simple problems which affects my ability to exist drastically thus am one NOT happy to say in the absolute upmost decent of ways.
We moved to Oklahoma and love everything here except our banking experience at Prosperity. We had nothing but trouble. The woman that set up our online banking put down an incorrect email address, put down my social security number incorrectly and failed three times in ordering our checks. It's been two months since we opened our account and we still don't have our checks!
Went to cash a check written to me by one of their account holders and would not cash the check without charging me 1.5% never heard of such a thing and neither has anybody I know, what a joke. I'd keep my money under my mattress before starting an account there.
