Can't belive I got charged 24% to cash a 25 dollar check just cause I didn't have an account. Was thinking about opening an account but charging this ridiculous fee changed my mind.
Customer service by branch manager was pitiful. The last branch manager asked why he didn't have all of our business or anymore than they did. They will now have none of our business. As a former Merrill Lynch adviser for many years, this group certainly needs to go back to training and learn how to put the customer experience as Priority #1.
Terrible customer service. Advisors cannot even tell you the payoff amount of a loan. Had to call a central office to get information and never did get anyone to answer. Waited at least 15 minutes and no one ever picked up on the other end. Finally got tired of waiting and left.
So I will say thIs not a reflection upon the teller that helped me but upon Bank of America as a whole. Last Thursday I made a deposit at this location. I was informed for a hold that would last 4 days and now I'm being informed the hold hasn't been released because the bank the check was written on hadn't released the funds yet. I auctually find that hard to believe. Because the very next day I had another check to deposit and they tried to do the same exact thing but this time I took the check back and went to the bank it was written on. I believe this is just Bank of America not caring about the incomviences they are causing their customers. This is flat out unacceptable. And I can tell you as soon as this is corrected I will be closing all accounts with Bank of America. I will never again do business with a big national bank like Bank of America.
By the way, since when does a branch manager or employee not even introduce themselves or tell the customer their name, no excuse. ( That wasn't my complaint but just an added addition)
1 teller inside bank and a huge load line many times. I eventually changed banks because of it. Also observed very sketchy things taking place inside this location.
central office never returned my call from 3 days ago. Bank of America overall provides terrible service. Tellers do not even know how to post a loan payment. Always have to wait for them to figure it out.
