I WILL NEVER GO TO ELITE FEET AGAIN!! THE GIRL TOLD ME I WOULD BE REFUNDED THE $20 THEY CHARGED ME TO ORDER SHOES TO TRY ON. THEY DIDN'T FIT. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!

I've used Elite for years. I moved to Texas a year & a half ago but still get my shoes here. I love running & don't want to get hurt. Thanks so much to Elite Feet for always being there to answer my questions & help me get the right shoes.

Great personal service.

I am a college student training for my first 5k. After the advice of many of my experienced runner friends, I decided to save up and buy my first pair of expensive running shoes and retire my cheap, Walmart ones. I was informed you should come in the evening because feet grow during the day, so I came around 4pm. I’ve heard nothing but good reviews, and I was excited to give this place a chance. I came in and explained that I was new and had no idea what I was doing. A specialist sized my feet, had me walk around while he watched and laid out four pairs of shoes. I put them on and did a bit of standing and walking back and forth. I bought the most comfortable pair of the batch for $120. The next day, I ran in them and all of my toes were numb and the balls of my feet hurt. I couldn’t even finish, so I took them off and walked the rest of the way. I looked online and found two more ways to lace my shoes, I tried both ways, neither of them did any good. I trusted the store’s reputation and did my best to make these work. A week later, I returned to the store with my shoes, box and receipt. The girl that worked there offered to relace the shoes for me, but found that they were way too tight. Apparently, the style ran small. She put her thumb on the shoe and said that there should be a thumb’s distance and tried to sell me another pair. If the guy who had worked with me the first time had taken the time to do the thumb test, I wouldn’t be in this position. The employee working with the customer being taken care of invited them to go outside and run. I hadn’t been offered that when I came, otherwise I would have known the difference between walking and running. I told her I wanted an exchange. She wasn’t sure if she could, so, after some urging, she called the owner. Which surprised me, because the exchange policy wasn’t explained to me, either. It was on the receipt, but what good does that do you after you’ve bought them. Anyway, I expected them to take care of me because they fitted me and chose the shoes. I came in a timely manner with the receipt and the box. He said that because they were used and dirty, I couldn’t return them. (I have attached pictures so you can decide for yourself) They were used because I trusted this place to size me correctly; they are known for giving people exactly what they need and I trusted that. I believe in supporting local business and I chose them over a corporation which would have gladly exchanged the shoes. They were very lightly used and I was more than patient with them. They offered to sell me another pair for 40% off. I could barely afford a good $120 pair, I certainly couldn’t afford to pay another $70. I understand that it is a lot of money, but I think it means more to me than the owner. The suggestion that I buy another pair from them was a little insulting. I’d rather pay full price somewhere else. I understand that sometimes people make mistakes, but I just wanted the right pair of shoes for my money and they refused to work with me. I found them at a better price somewhere else in my size and I’m just going to have to eat the $100+ I won’t suggest that you choose not to come here, I don’t want to fight with the owner and I still support small business, but I don’t see the point anymore. There are probably people who are excellent at their job, but there are some who leave a lot to be desired. The price wasn’t incredibly competitive, which I understood when I came to this place, I would be glad to pay more to support those that are experts at what they do, but I didn’t have that as the case. And when I had issues, they didn’t work with me much. Too bad.

Incredibly Disappointed.
