I just bought my new outdoor patio furniture from Swanson's Fireplace and Patio. Beverly was fabulous in helping me pick out the perfect furniture to meet my needs and space requirements. The furniture is super comfortable and she managed to help me stay within my price range.
I saw someone else's review about they were treated rudely and I would have to agree 100%. Me and my two little girls walked in and I said hello. The woman just stared at us. I said hello again and she just looked at me. I walked around followed by an a man asking what I was looking for. I said I had a budget of 2,000 and u wanted either a sofa or small loveseat, not a full set. I was rudely interrupted by him to let me know "well, we don't sell that cheap made from China stuff. You're looking at upper end nice stuff. We don't sell cheap China furniture." Seriously?!?! My 5 yr old asked why we were leaving and said for him to hear I'll not be treated or looked down upon like that. I told him I'll be glad to take my 2,000 and probably even more since I'm easily convinced, somewhere else that I'm not treated so rudely.
My husband and I went in to look for new outdoor patio furniture and have never been treated so rudely! I had been excited to go and spend my money locally but from the moment we stepped in we were not welcome. We were told that the store was for medium to high end furniture and were then escorted to the closeout section of shop. The older gentleman helped us (I presumed he was the owner) and followed us around like we might damage something. He treated us like we shouldn't have even come in. He virtually judged us as not being capable of purchasing in his store and acted like we were a nuisance. I will not be returning and I would not recommend this store.
Great selection and value. The employees could not be nicer and more accommodating. They have a bigger selection than the big box chains too.
We have bought several pieces from this store - they are still like new after a couple of years outside. The owner and his family were very nice, very helpful, and delivered one larger item personally. I recommend them very highly, and plan to buy more for this summer.
For the best selection and quality of patio furniture and patio dining sets in the state, I definitely recommend Swanson's. It is so nice to get personalized service that you can not find at big stores and the prices are not much higher.
