Faith Bible Church is a Bible teaching church with great expository teaching. Pastor Hitchcock has a passion for teaching and clearly presents the Gospel every Sunday. The small groups are also a great way to connect with other members of the church.
An exceptionally good church. Teaching pastor is a leading Bible scholar who has about 20 books published. Lead pastor is a visionary who loves God and loves people unconditionally. The church is in a growth phase with about 1400 a Sunday with more likely in the next few years. I'm blessed to be a member.
The pastor is a good teacher. The congregation seemed to be asleep though, most just stood there and didn't even sing during worship. They seemed bored by the entertainment. I was very surprised by this considering the pastor writes books about End Time Prophecy. It does not seem they are expectant or excited about the return of Christ or maybe there is a spirit of unbelief there. This church definitely needs an encounter with the Lord! When it came time to shake hands the people around us weren't very friendly. They also don't celebrate the gift of tithing. They don't take up the offering or bless it. They have boxes along the halls of the building for you to drop it in. If you are looking for a church on fire and filled with the spirit of Christ this church is definitely not the church.
Great Bible based church with real and growing community.
Faith Bible Church has a great and growing congregation and excellent expository Bible teaching by Mark Hitchcock, a renowned Bible teacher, who has served the Edmond congregation for over 25 years. Also noteworthy are the wonderful children's and youth ministries. The leaders, teachers, and volunteers are wonderful and very committed to sharing the love of Christ and a passion for their faith with the children and youth each time they meet! Numerous Adult Bible Fellowships provide a way for adults to study the Bible and to really connect with others in a smaller setting. Everything at FBC is done with such excellence! The facilities are beautiful and well-cared for. Perhaps that is why so many new families with young children are making Faith Bible Church their church home.
