Went to Edmond, OK location for the Veteran's Day promotion. The offer was for free meal of boneless wings and fries. I told the waitress I was a veteran and would like to order the promoted meal. She said she must ask the manager. She came back and took my order but offered fries, wedges, or chips. I opted for chips.
Tuesdays are amazing over here half price traditional wings. Food is great service is good
She looked confused and said there must be a problem with the system because they were, in fact, offering the Veteran's Day free boneless wings meal promotion.
Midway through my meal, she returned with my ticket. I was a bit confused to see that I was being charged the regular price for the meal (just over $10). I considered it would just be zeroed out at the end of the meal or something.
Update: 1 star. I came at 11:30Pm and our waiter was straight up rude and was giving my be a dirty look the whole time We were there. Made me uncomfortable and pissed him off. I think I will be going to the I-35 location. I always see a hiring sign. Y'all need to hire me. I'll contribute my customer service!!!.
I stood looking at her for a moment until she said she needed to ask the manager again, then she walked away. While I waited a few more moments at the register, another waitress asked if I had been helped. I told her that I was informed by her co-worker that they were not presenting a free meal for veteran's day.
I finished and left a tip on the table then met my waitress at the register. She rang up the ticket and said "That'll be $9.40" (this isn't exact but I know she gave a price less than what was on the ticket).
* We always come here.. Busy or slow we get decent service. Its at a convenient location on Santa Fe and Danforth. Big screen tv's and they never have an issue changing the channels to other games. I did order a honey BBQ salad and the lettuce was fair but had some green/black lettuce so they took it back and the manager came out and spoke to me explaining where they get their lettuce... But overall, great environment.
My dad and I went here tonight and were sorely regretting our dinner choice, literally, from the moment my dad unrolled his silverware napkin to find a previously used fork and knife. They were still coated in left over food. Our neglectful and grumpy waitress entirely ignored my dad the first time he tried to wave her down to get new silverware, and she continued to walk past us without a word a few more times. Eventually we had to flag down another waiter to get new silverware. How irritating. I also had yo wait forever to have my drink refilled and by the time i got a new one, we were done eating. Then, our appetizer was brought with our food even though we asked to have it before our meal. The wings we had were utterly mediocre, and the fries, which we got charged $5.30 for, are basically McDonald's fries, and the cheesecurds should be called greasecurds; we didn't pay 10$ for grease. I'm sitting in the car on the way home bloated with indigestion and regret from eating at this poor establishment that dares to call itself a restaurant.
I don't mean to 'look a gift horse in the mouth' but this whole situation has left me with an overall bad impression of Buffalo Wild Wings. I don't intend on returning.
She left just as the original waitress returned with the manager. He corrected the charge for the wings but stated there was an "upcharge" for the chips.
Confused, I asked again whether they were participating in the veteran's day promotion. She said "Yes, but the meal is not free".
Love to go to Buffalo Wild Wings! Friendly Wait Staff, some great appetizers! Love the wings, salads and the burgers! Go as a family or on a date snuggled up in the bar watching whatever sports you like including football, baseball, soccer, basketball (OKC Thunder), wrestling, boxing or golf! Always enjoy this restaurant/bar!
